Beth graduated from University of Colorado – Boulder law school in 1979. After law school, she clerked for Colorado Supreme Justice James K. Groves. After completing her clerkship, she worked briefly for the Denver District Attorney’s office. In 1981, she moved to Durango, CO, with her future husband and law partner, Alex C. Tejada. In 1992, they opened Crane & Tejada, P.C., where she has been a partner since. For 35 years, she has focused her practice on workers’ compensation and personal injury.Beth has prosecuted hundreds of workers’ compensation claims and personal injury cases. Her diligent preparation, thorough knowledge of the law, and reputation produce results for her clients, no matter who the defendant may be. On behalf of her clients, she has obtained compensation, medical treatment, and injunctions from numerous defendants who include the State of Colorado, trucking companies, and other international companies.

Beth currently serves on many boards across the State, including the Magistrate Judge Selection Panel for the United States District Court of Colorado and the Law Alumni Board for the University of Colorado – Boulder law school. She also served on the Attorney Regulation Committee, the Legal Aid Foundation,the Southwest Colorado Women’s Bar Association, and the Colorado Rural Legal Services boards, amongst many others.
